- Prevent any of the aliens from reaching your base. If even one 'enters', you will lose.

- Aliens can be killed with one hit, but they can also kill your defenses with one touch.

- There are two types of defenses: Mortal and Abilities. The former kill, the latter help. The cards that allow you to deploy them recharge over time and with the number of dead aliens.
